Our first international interiors project: a compact frankie outlet in Ottawa, where a small footprint still carries a big presence.

The space is designed as a warm, vibrant pause in the city’s everyday rhythm. We built a clear identity through colour and texture: mustard yellow, leafy green, and vivid red wall tiles create an immediate brand recall, while a textured metal plate ceiling adds an industrial edge that balances the softer glow of the lighting.

The main spatial move is a yellow powder-coated metal wrap that curves from ceiling to wall and folds into bar counters. It frames the seating pockets along the edges, making the layout feel intentional rather than tight. Red and white ceramic tiles are paired with custom blue line illustrations, capturing local scenes and brand stories without turning the walls into graphics for their own sake.

Handcrafted patterned cement tiles anchor the floor, adding tactility and a sense of familiarity that ties the whole palette together.

Functional, memorable, and full of character, the outlet reframes fast food as a small but layered spatial experience: quick, comfortable, and distinctly its own.
